PS and the Budget for 2025: there is no decision yet, but the socialists increasingly show division
Former socialist minister José António Vieira da Silva is not usually given to strong adjectives. This time, however, he could not contain himself when he heard the party leader speak about PS leaders who play “the game of the right [e] the Government’s game” by publicly criticizing its conduct in relation to OE2025.
“It’s good that no one makes a mistake about this, neither outside nor inside the PS. Those in our party who have access to television need to come down from their pedestal more often and be with the party, feel the party, with the activists. If they do so, they will quickly realize that there is not a single PS activist who likes to see PS leaders playing the right’s game, the government’s game.”, said Pedro Nuno Santos this Sunday, closing a congress of the PS district structure in Coimbra.
