Adiafa do Tejo: free event in Santarém celebrates the end of the harvest

Saturday, September 28th, between 4pm and 11pm, the Portas do Sol garden, in Santarém, will host the second edition of the Adiafa do Tejo event. With free entry, the initiative aims to celebrate the end of the harvest season in the Tagus Wine region. To this end, it invites everyone who works in production, from vineyards to wine, but also oenophiles and families, for a moment of joy and relaxation.

The party revolves around tasting the region’s wines, solo or in cocktails, prepared with single-varietal wines from Fernão Pires. Thought by sommelier Rodolfo Tristão, consultant for the Tejo Regional Wine Commission (CVR Tejo), and made with sparkling wine, white wines, more aromatic or not so much, and liqueurs, three proposals will be available: Tejo Tónico, Tejo Campojito and Tejo Sunset. Also based on the region’s queen grape variety, there are ice creams from this grape variety and other ice creams from Pascoalini, present in the register of street food and to which are added food offers from Burguesita and Chips & Bites.
