AAlthough the Euro Cup is already reaching the quarterfinals and there are only three rounds left to meet the future winner of the old continent, it is not the only national team competition that is being played at the moment. A championship where Argentina, despite not being the highest scoring team, at the moment, has the footballer who has scored the most goals with fortune. Lautaro Martínez has already managed to score up to four goals, far ahead of Maximiliano Araújo or Vinicius Junior who are also candidates to be the top scorer of the Copa América.
A championship in which Leo Messi has yet to score and would need four goals to make history. A figure that would make him tie the Argentine Norberto Méndez and the Brazilian Zizinho as the top scorers in the history of the Copa América. One more statistic and record that would leave the Argentine star in a place where very few could reach.
