Melendi’s sincerity in ‘La Voz Kids’: “I don’t know if it will be hurtful or not”
EThis Saturday, July 6, ‘The voice Kids’ celebrated its second semi-final on an exciting night in which the judges once again demonstrated their ability to dominate the scene. On this occasion she was Melendi which surprised many viewers thanks to its sincerity with Juan Franciscoone of the children on Rosario’s team.
The little artist came out on stage to perform one of the best-known songs of Antonio Orozco, ‘Between leftovers and leftovers you’re missing me’. Loaded with strength and power, Juan Francisco’s performance was one of the best of the night thanks to its impressive style.
The first to congratulate the young man was Rosario, who wanted to dedicate some nice words to Juan Francisco: “You have done much better today than every day I have seen you. You have made all of our hair stand on end”. However, Melendi wanted to speak from the heart to the little one: “I tell you, Juanfran, jolín. I don’t know if my sincerity will be hurtful or not, but I have to be”.
At that moment, the rest of the coaches feared the worst, since they did not know the path Melendi would choose. However, the Astuarian’s words were going to be very positive, since he assured him that “You weren’t in my pools and it was the performance of the night” because of the “emotion” which he had transferred to those present.

“I think the public has felt the same and that is going to be very good for you. I think that ‘La Voz Kids’ has turned you into a much broader artist”, he added. Furthermore, the singer from Oviedo recalled that Juan Francisco was perhaps “pigeonholed into a single genre”, although after that night that taboo was buried.
The public decided that Juan Francisco would be one of the eight finalists of ‘La Voz Kids’, whose Grand Final will take place next Saturday, July 13on Antena 3, the day on which the winner of this new edition will be known.
