En the middle of the league break we discovered an unprecedented event in the Top MARCA Official League. Of the ten best managers, none have the king (Lewandowski) and only one has the other great contender for the crown (Mbappé). We are talking about the highest level tournament in the Fantasy community, who once again leads ‘La Carrasconeta’ by José Carrasco, awarded eleven months ago at the legendary Pichichi gala as champion of the 22-23. No winner to date has achieved it without having the player with the highest score. For five years with Messi, then Benzema, Griezmann… essential to be in the fight. Will it be a specific event or perhaps we are facing a historical event?
On matchday 9, Carrasco took the lead after adding 104 points. Of the total of 741 in the general classification, none correspond to Lewandowski’s 89, although he did achieve 67 of the 71 that Mbappé has (he had it the first seven days). Duardi is eight points behind ‘Carras’, with no trace of LaLiga’s ‘Pichichi’ in his lineups. Don Quijote de la Cancha ‘Donqui’ is another great reference in the Fantasy community. He is seventh with 718 points: “I’m more worried about the two or three that didn’t sell Mbappé, because let’s see when he comes back on the market. That could be a problem. I don’t see Lewandowski as Fantasy king at the end of the season.”
Manuel ‘Leroca FC’ is just over a month away from receiving his trophy from 23-24 at the MARCA Gala. His explanation points to the new scores: “Goals are less decisive now. Lewandowski has more than twice as many goals as Vinícius and only has eleven points ahead of him. The same thing happens with Raphinha and Lamine. On average per game the best are two midfielders, Dani Olmo and Lo Celso”.
