FC Barcelona: Barcelona will sue Libero for non-payment of the 40 million 10% of Bara Vision

FC Barcelona has decided to sue Libero Football Finance AG for not having paid the 40 million euros corresponding to the purchase of 10% of Bara Vision, an operation carried out through the company Bridgeburg Invest that ultimately did not take place.

As EFE has learned from sources in the Barça entity, Barcelona had extended the deadline for Libero pay those 40 millioninitially scheduled for last August, until December 31, 2023.

However, the payment has not occurred and The club has launched the corresponding legal actions to claim it, at the same time that it has begun to activate the alternatives to find a buyer of that 10% of Bara Vision to occupy the position of the German investment fund.

Initially, FC Barcelona sold 49% of Bara Vision, the company in charge of the creation, production and marketing of the club’s entire audiovisual offer, to Orpheus Media and Socios.comin exchange for 200 million euros.

Last summer, between Libero and NIPA They repurchased 29.5% of that 49%to unblock the operation and reactivate this ‘lever’, but the first has not taken charge of the 40 million that he had to pay in the acquisition, so the matter will end up in court.
