Elena Tablada presents herself to Miss Universe: “It is the ideal time to take this step”
ELena Tablada has decided to run for Miss Universe. The ex of Javier Ungría and David Bisbal will be a candidate for the next beauty pageant, as exclusively reported by Iván Reboso, collaborator of ‘Fiesta’, in the broadcast of the Telecinco space on Saturday, June 29. “She has told me: ‘I want to love myself, I want to learn to value myself and, at this point in my life, it is the ideal time to take this step and show that I love myself both inside and out,” explained the journalist.
“I like this step she has taken and this reflection she has made,” was Emma García’s first reaction, host of Mediaset’s weekend program. After launching the bombshell news, the ‘Fiesta’ commentators wanted to know more details about the jewelry designer’s candidacy.
“Elena Tablada wanted to make a change in her life, to believe in herself again because she has gone through a lot of bumps lately and she said: ‘I want to love myself, I want to trust myself.’ And the time has come to show the world who is it. (…) She has spent the last years of her life telling what has happened to her, she has taken the world by storm, her family has supported her and now she is going for it.. “She’s going for the crown,” Reboso said in ‘Fiesta’ after giving the exclusive.

Iván Reboso also wanted to clarify that Elena Tablada will represent Cuba in Miss Universe: “Everything has arisen from her family and she represents Cuba because she feels half Spanish and half Cuban.”
Furthermore, the candidate spoke for ‘Fiesta’, leaving a message after confirming the news: “It was never part of my plans, but my family in Miami, who has a lot of hope for me. (…) I thought they were never going to call me because I am very outside the canons of this type of contest of beauty…”.
They said that those parameters had changed, that there were no longer limits and that what they were looking for was a person who was Cuban… Why not? (…) They asked me if I had something special and, although my physique would work against me, the most important thing I have in my life, apart from being a mother, is what I have in my head… The best thing I have is learning. I’m going to let myself go and be surprised by life,” confessed Elena Tablada.
