Dujshebaev and Sabaté continue their hookup on MARCA: “Calling me a shitty Chinese is racism”; “racist insults are false”

Hours after what happened at the end of the match between Wisla Plock and Kielce, Talant Dujshebaev and Xavier Sabaté attend MARCA. Both They got into a brawl at the end of the match between disqualifications, racist insults, spitting… “Fucking Chinese”, “Son of a bitch, I’m going to kill you”… are the words that were said to each other on the way to the locker room. Now both give their version of what happened.

Dujshebaev: “Calling me a shitty Chinese is racism”

Dujshebaev speaks and tells how it all started at the end of the match: “Before the break, a part of the Wisla fans starts singing black shit about Dylan Nahi. At the end of the game I approach the referees to talk about what happened, then he [Sabaté] He comes closer and doesn’t let me talk to them and the delegate. That’s when I tell him what it’s about. Then he starts insulting me. I make the gesture of spitting into the air. If there is a camera that shows that I spit at him, I stop training. Then he starts insulting me and calling me shitty Chinese.”

“I repeat, show me something about the fact that I spat at him with saliva, I made the gesture of contempt because he is a poor bastard for the comments he made to me. Then he tells me that the Chinese thing is not an insult, that it is a general saying. They are insulting me, they are hitting me where it hurts. Why is calling black a racist and not Chinese? It’s the same thing,” says Talant.

The coaches of Kielce and Wisla confronted each other at the end of the game, exchanging insults and threats.

“You can win or lose, but don’t disrespect me. Since 2016, when he lost the Champions League final with Vezprem, he has something against me with us, He has always had problems with Spanish coaches. I have no problems with him, but calling me a Chinese son of a bitch, a Chinese shit, hey, don’t touch my balls… He’s a fucking child compared to me,” says Dujshebaev.

Dujshebaev: “Episodes of racism are not reported here in Poland”

“I notice at this moment a lack of respect and a display of racism. Before the break, a part of himThe Wisla fans start chanting black shit at my black player. This has no justification. They are racist. People didn’t believe it but there is racism and hatred in the handball world. “I’m hurt by this, in many fields in Poland they call my players, Nahi, shitty niggers,” Talant continues.

In France, in Germany, in Spain, episodes of racism are denouncedbut in Poland no one can, why? Because Orlen is the strongest company in Poland and it sponsors the Federation and the Polish Super League and they own the club,” he comments.

“They are going to tell you that I was the one who provoked it, but they have no right to insult in this way, but a white person will never understand what a black person or a person of color is going through. Nor there are excuses, he has no right to call me in front of my sports director that I am a shitty Chinese. He was provoking me” insists Talant.

Xavier Sabaté: “The racist insults are false”

Xavier Sabaté has also spoken with MARCA. The Wisla coach gives his version of what happened without mentioning Talant Dujshebaev by name. At all times he refers to him as the “Kielce coach.”

Sabaté also announces that he is going to file a civil complaint: “It is the seventh season that I have been at Wisla Plock, since the first the Kielce coach has always been a person who cannot control his emotions. He spends the whole game, when things are going well, insulting and provoking. Everything has a limit. Each one defends his club, his players, you have to try to win, but what happens in the game is one thing and when it’s over it’s over. What has happened is unacceptable. In the end he told me “You son of a bitch, I’m going to kill you.” He grabbed me by the back of the head with his hand and spat in my face. It is unacceptable. The thing about the racist insults is false and he will have to prove it in court. I cannot accept this. “Nothing like this has ever happened to me.”.

Xavier Sabaté: “I didn’t hear insults against his player”

Sabaté states that He did not hear racist insults against Nahi from a section of Wisla fans. “I didn’t hear any insults. It surprises me a lot because here in Poland I have not seen any racismIt is also true that there are not many foreigners, but I can’t tell you yes or no, because I heard absolutely nothing. For me it is false propaganda. The topic of racism is fashionable. We have signed Richardson for next year, with that I tell you everything, black players have passed through here, my best friends are foreigners. There’s nowhere to get it.”
