Bagnaia does not give Jorge Martín an option and Marc Márquez saves points in the end

Pecco Bagnaia won the MotoGP race in Assen. The champion dominated from start to finish, giving no option. Jorge Martín saved a good second place to maintain a 10-point advantage over ‘1’. Marc Márquez saved fourth place with a final assault on Viñales and remains 51 behind Martinator.

Aleix Espargaró was out. He had a fracture in the fifth metacarpal of his right hand. The Aprilia tester did not run either, Lorenzo Savadoridue to rib injuries.

The time changed: it was less heat and more wind. It was 22 degrees in the air and 38 on the asphalt. This opened the range in tires: Martín was on medium and medium, compared to the hard and medium of Bagnaia, the Márquez or Viñales. Acosta rode hard and soft.

In At the start, Bagnaia maintained first position from the pole. Viñales was second and Martinator rose to third place. Marc won the game over Álex to place fourth.

Alex Rins suffered a strong fall in the first angle. She flew out by ears.

Jorge wanted not to lose Pecco’s wake and passed Viñales. Soon, the eight-time champion imitated him. In one lap the first three overall were already in front.

Pedro Acosta had made an excellent start, like the entire beginning. In a lap and a half he was fifth, surpassing Binder, Morbidelli and Álex Márquez. Marini was going through the gravel.

The current champion took little time to take a second advantagebut the man from Madrid did not wrinkle and force.

Marco Bezzecchi completed his black weekend with a crash in turn 9. He was far behind. His partner Di Giannatonio passed Acosta.

Marc Márquez was warned of a sanction after only four laps due to overstepping the green areas.

Martín had gotten within five tenths of Pecco, but the ‘1’ replied in a big way, endorsing half a second that of the Prima Pramac in a single lap. What power!

‘Diggia’ came untied. He made a brutal pass on Maverick in the final chicane. Mir was falling.

Moments later, his ‘victim’ was Marc Márquez to place third. Was a strange passwith the man from Lleida showing the Roman where to go.

Bagnaia managed perfectly the second advantage he had. He kept Martín in line and, little by little, he expanded him.

After passing the halfway point of the test, Acosta began to suffer very much. He had almost constant scares and ‘saves’. His rear rubber barely had grip, causing Bastianini to easily catch him and pass him.

Miguel Oliveira was sanctioned with going through the ‘Long Lap’ by stepping on the parts many times. He was 14th, but everything got worse because when passing through there he went wide and had to repeat it.

With seven laps remaining, another strange maneuver altered the first positions: ‘Diggia’ had an error and he took advantage of it… Viñales, who beat Fabio and Marc Márquez in one fell swoop. The one from VR46 was soon overtaken by Bastianini.

The Beast arrived ‘on’: He overtook the eldest Márquez with a great interior, although Marc had to go a little to the outside. That was perceived by Di Giannantonio, who surpassed ’93’. But the man from Cervera answered immediately and Acosta caught fish, but only for a moment.

Enea completed his great comeback, a trademark of the house, with an overtake on Viñales in the chicane that earned him third place.

The excitement was only for fourth place, with Viñales being stalked by Marc, who seemed overwhelmed by ‘Diggia’. Acosta fell and lost seventh place.

The ’93’ surpassed Maverick at the entrance to the final chicane. The one from Roses went a little long, but resisted Di Giannantonio, although it was sanctioned for stepping on the green and lost a place in favor of Fabio.

Above, Bagnaia came comfortably. She won how she wanted and when she wanted. It is his third successive victory in Assen, following in the footsteps of Mick Doohan, who won five in a row between 1994 and 1998. Martín was second to continue leading and saving a complex grand prix.
