FFernando Alonso lands in Silverstone, home of Aston Martin, whose factory is almost at the gates of the circuit, delighted with how the work on the modern installation of the green team is going: “I give it a 10 out of 10, I think it is very difficult for any other team to have the same facilities that we will have when it is finished but it is not finished yet. We are still building, the wind tunnel will open later this year, so there is still work to do, but everything is progressing very well and it is impressive every time I come,” says the two-time champion, who will continue two more years, as little, in Aston.
Alonso has also referred to the morning news, to Ollie Bearman’s announcement that he will be an official Haas driver at the age of 19 (and perhaps it will soon happen with 17-year-old Antonelli), and he has valued them: “I don’t think it has changed enormously, I think you have to be lucky, take advantage of opportunities and be in the right place at the right time. I think that nowadays F1 academies and simulators help for sure, but there are many talented drivers in F3 and F2 and only one or two are chosen each year or every two years,” he values.

The small details make the difference, the same thing happened to me, I was very lucky when I was 19 to be able to try the Minardi and then do well and then I had the opportunity in the Minardi and in the Renault. But There were also many other talented drivers in my generation who didn’t have the opportunity like me, so you have to take advantage of it,” he says.
Likewise, Fernando assures that he treats everyone equally, veterans and newcomers: “I fight all the drivers the same way, except two or three who are a little more difficult or you come into contact frequently, so you have to give a little more leeway. But I don’t give names…”
