Two Brazilian players — defender Luís Felipe, 23 years old, and striker Pedro Henrique Marinho, 24 — will reinforce Sport Clube Beira-Mar, based in Aveiro, Northern Portugal. They will be officially presented on Sunday (12/27), when the team’s new sponsor will be announced, the company Primefy, which is arriving in Portuguese territory. The two athletes were contracted for three seasons.
Beira-Mar currently plays the Portuguese Championshipcorresponding to Série D of the Brasileirão. The club already has four players from Brazil: Cléber Santana, who arrived this season, Matheus Silva, Micael Lima and Carlos Silva. The newly signed players were without a team, therefore, they are free to contract, even though the athlete transfer window has closed.
For reasons of secrecy, Primefy does not reveal the value of the sponsorship, but those who had access to the contract guarantee that it will be a sufficient amount to give Beira-Mar a good financial boost. Today, the entire team is valued by the market at 220 thousand euros (R$ 1.35 million). The prospect is that the reinforcements will help the club reach greater heights in the Portuguese football championship.
Luís Felipe, born in Cuiabá, played for several teams in Brazil, the last of which, Londrina, for which he played in the Paraná championship. He had his training at PSV, in the Netherlands, where he stayed for two and a half years. The club already had among its athletes Romário and Ronaldo Fenômeno, who took Luís Felipe to Cruzeiro. Pedro Henrique, from Campinas, played for Goiás and recently played for KS Burreli, from Albania.
