Virgul (Da Weasel): “My father was one of those who used to beat him with a belt. I missed classes because of some girls and the message came home.”

Virgul, this week’s guest at Posto Emissor, recalled his childhood spent in Monte da Caparica, as well as the “rather harsh education†he received, especially from his father.

“My father was one of those who used to beat him with a belt,†says the fellow Da Weasel member, describing himself as “a calm kid†, but who “had some fear in everything he did.†.

Which does not invalidate the fact that the musician – which launched this Friday a new theme, ‘Another Planet’ – had not had his mischievous moments, with consequences. “I missed classes because of some girls and the message came home,†she remembers.
