On the one hand, a criminal candidate who is awaiting a possible prison sentence in less than two weeks, who lied, claimed other people’s government triumphs and refused to answer questions about his role in the riot of 6 January 2021 – episode that will drag on in court after the Supreme Court decision to grant partial immunity to the holder of the presidency.
On the other, the individual who lost the debate. However, worse than the outcome, it was the image that Joe Biden left with more than 330 million Americans, that of an apparently exhausted man, with an at times incoherent speech.
