The mythical Tupperware went bankrupt, but it wasn’t the only one: which other emblematic companies had their arc of glory and decline?

The North American multinational Tupperware was so revolutionary at the time that, almost 80 years later, there are still those who attribute the company’s name to any plastic container, regardless of the manufacturer in question. However, despite all the success achieved, not only in the American continent but in the rest of the world, Tupperware could not resist the increase in competition and the consequent loss of demand – and declared bankruptcy last week.

Despite the nostalgia that remains, the truth is that Tupperware is not the only emblematic company that has not stood the test of time: several others that once dominated market segments and went from “glory to decadence”.
