âThe Song Before The Song Comes Out’ is a note lasting just 41 seconds captured by Trish Keenan during a walk: her footsteps can be heard and her voice struggles with lack of breath, something that, still thus, it did not prevent her from recording the melody for a future song. This promise of an eventual future, however, was halted in 2011: Keenan, on tour in Australia with his band, Broadcast, contracted a virus and died a couple of weeks later, on January 14th.
