SWR Barroselas Metalfest announced, this Wednesday, the first names for its 2025 edition, which will be held in that Minho village from April 23rd to 26th.
Among the main highlights are the Norwegians Dødheimsgard, a reference in extreme metal, who released their latest work, “Black Medium Current”, in 2023. Ved Buens Ende, their fellow countrymen, and owners of a black metal avant-garde, will also be present in Barroselas. The Germans Ahab, top name of the doom metalare another new feature.
Repulsion, Unleashed, Hellripper, Merrimack, Black Curse, Corpus Christii, Butcher, Concrete Winds, Test, Kawir, Steelharmonics, Nashgul, Black Pyramid, Sacred Sin, Malphas, Phenocryst and Godless are also confirmed on the SWR Barroselas poster. In the coming weeks, these will be joined by more confirmations.
The special Christmas pack, which includes a festival pass, a t-shirt, a glass and a bag, is now available on the official SWR Barroselas website, priced at 90 euros.
