Study indicates that 37% of companies plan to reinforce staff in the third quarter

QAlmost four in ten Portuguese companies plan to increase their workforce in the third quarter, according to ManpowerGroup’s Employment Outlook survey. The survey, released this week, indicates that 37% of companies want to increase staff, while 19% expect to reduce their staff. The result is a net job creation prospect of 18%, an increase of 7 percentage points (pp) compared to the previous quarter, although still 9 pp below the same period last year.
