Rui Moreira despairs over delays in Metro do Porto works and accuses the company of “misinforming” the population: “Don’t lie to the people of Porto”

Works are works and, as a rule, they are synonymous with delays and constraints. The inconveniences become much more noticeable when the construction works have the size and complexity of the contract for the expansion of the Metro do Porto network. Rui Moreira even admits that “having problems in a certain place is normal”, but when there is slippages on “all work fronts, without exception”then “it’s a bit incomprehensible”. Mainly, notes the mayor, when Metro do Porto “says there is no problem” and “insists on a successive lie”.
