Queens of the Stone Age cancel concert in Italy just hours before the start: return to Portugal scheduled for August

Queens of the Stone Age canceled a concert scheduled at the AMA festival, in Romano d’Ezzelino, in the province of Vicenza, in Italy, just hours before its start.

In a statement shared on social media, the North American band limited itself to saying that the cancellation occurred due to illness. QOTSA were the main name on the program for the first day of the festival, which is spread over several nights until the end of August, with the first parts of The Amazons and Kemama also cancelled.

Josh Homme’s group’s next stop is Milan, also in Italy, this Saturday, before passing through European festivals such as Way Out West, in Sweden, Oya, in Norway, the Lowlands, in the Netherlands, or the Pukkelpop, in Belgium. The European leg of the tour ends in Portugal, on August 21st, at the CA Vilar de Mouros festival.
