PSD and PS available for justice reform (and four other topics that marked the fortnightly debate)

Contrary to what is usual, the first time the floor was given to the opposition in this afternoon’s fortnightly debate, the criticism that echoed in Parliament was not in the direction of the Government. Pedro Nuno Santos, leader of the PS, actually addressed à justiça, attacking it in time and manner, and challenging the PSD to join the PS and work on reforming the sector. And the Prime Minister agreed.

Although warning that he does not want to look at “concrete cases†, LuÃs Montenegro expressed the “Government availability to deepen the rules†and the deadlines in criminal proceedings alongside the PS. There are matters, as Pedro Nuno Santos said, in which the two really have to “understand each other and promote changes†.
