TCreating a comfortable home is the aspiration of most Portuguese people, but they only move forward with renovations when they manage to gather enough savings to pay for the intervention. This conclusion results from the study “Obras em Casa†(carried out by UCI — Union of Real Estate Credits, with the support of Spirituc, a market research company), which highlights that it was the comfort the main reason for carrying out works, with 73% of multiple responses, followed by improving conditions and renovating the space (66%), while concerns Environmental reasons are the least mentioned justification (8%).
