PCP wants “profits generated in Portugal to be taxed in Portugal”

The communists will add two autonomous proposals to the budget debate with the aim of creating greater “fiscal justice”. The first measure aims to increase the “effective taxation” of economic groups with profits registered in Portugal and the second proposes tax relief for workers through the VAT reduction to 6% on electricity, natural gas, bottled gas and telecommunications. “They are proposed within the scope of fiscal justice, that is, with the objective of not only relieving taxation on workers, but also of taxing economic groups in a more effective way”, explained Paula Santos, during the PCP parliamentary days , which ends this Tuesday.
