More powers for municipalities and less for condominiums: new rules for AL come into force on November 1st

Municipalities will have more powers in regulating local accommodation in their territories, whether in inspection or in defining growth areas. There is also no longer any expiry in registrations and condominiums no longer have a ‘say’ on new local accommodation in their buildings.

All these rules and a few more were published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette and will come into force on November 1st.
