Marcelo praises Gouveia e Melo, but refuses to say whether he has what it takes to be the next President

Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa praises Admiral Gouveia e Melo, but does not dare to say whether he will have the necessary characteristics to be the next President of the Republic.

Speaking to journalists, this Wednesday, during a visit to Troia, there was a Navy drone exercise – the “Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping Augmented by Maritime Unnmanned Systems (REPMUS)” -, o Head of State made a point of paying “a compliment” to Henrique Gouveia e Melo, with him at his side.

Admiral Gouveia e Melo, who became a well-known figure to the public when he led the vaccination against Covid-19 in Portugal, has come to be identified as a potential candidate for Belémin the next presidential elections.
