Luna Fest offers day ticket for 2025 due to problems with Psychedelic Furs concert
The organizers of the Luna Fest festival, which took place in Coimbra from the 6th to the 8th of September, announced that it will offer a day ticket for the 2025 edition to everyone who shows the receipt for the ticket purchased for the first day of this year’s edition.
At issue are the problems that affected the Psychedelic Furs concert, one of the highlights of the poster, for technical reasons. According to a report in the newspaper “Público”, the British “practically did not touch. A problem related to the sound forced the British band to leave the stage after just three songs (and by the second the technical problems were already noticeable).”
In the statement now released by the organization, it can be read that “an incompatibility between the festival’s sound system and that of the band led to technical problems, the delay in resolving which made it impossible to put on a decent show by a band in which the organization and spectators had a lot of hope.”
Luna Fest will not refund the money for tickets purchased for this first day, but is committed to offering a daily ticket for 2025. “The ticket purchased was valid for one night of the festival, with seven performances, so it would be impossible to return the ticket. money relating to one of these shows”, explains the organization.
Names like Theater of Hate, Jon Spencer, Kid Congo Powers or Belle Chase Hotel attended Luna Fest 2024.
