“Let us continue to govern”, appeals the Government in a debate about the State that became a discussion about the Budget

The debate was about the state of the State, but it quickly turned into a discussion about public investment (or lack thereof) and a blame game about what is happening in the country. The “budget soap opera” was Rui Rocha’s opening pretext to then point the finger at Chega’s “irrevocables” and the “hypocrisy” of the PS. “Such a lack of interest in the true points that are decisive for the country”, pointed out the liberal leader, Rui Rocha: “This is the state of parliament and the parliamentary benches. No wonder the state of the state isn’t great either.”
