Kamala Harris will be with Obama and Springsteen and Trump will go to Arizona

Harris and Trump will take advantage of the end of the week to capture votes in other swing states, hoping to capture the vote of undecided voters and independents.

The Democratic candidate for president of the United States will be in Georgia alongside former President Barack Obama and singer Bruce Springsteen, while Republican Donald Trump chose Arizona to talk about immigration.

For this task, Harris is betting on two ‘heavyweights’ from the Democratic wing, with Barack Obama at her side, who has strived to attract mainly the male vote of African-American ethnicity.

In this effort, Obama will appear accompanied by the artist with whom he has already made a podcast: Bruce Springsteen, who has not hidden his appreciation for the current vice-president, calling for votes for what he considers to be “the most competent policy to overcome conservative prejudices”.

In fact, in this podcast, Obama and Springsteen shared many ideas about solutions to some of the most delicate problems facing the United States and which are now campaign themes, such as illegal immigration or access to abortion.

The rally in the southern state of Georgia will also mark Harris’ first joint appearance with Obama, on the same stage and in tune with the strategy of broadening the Democrats’ electoral support base, particularly among African-American voters who polls say are more inclined to support Trump.

The Republican candidate, in turn, promised to moderate personal criticism of Harris, after in recent days, at rallies in Pennsylvania, he accused the vice-president of being unintelligent and lazy.

Today, Trump moves from the East Coast to the West Coast and analysts will closely follow his words, seeking to detect the changes in the campaign direction promised by the Republican’s entourage.

According to some figures in Trump’s campaign leadership, the most direct attacks on Harris will now be carried out by the vice-presidential candidate, JD Vance, who will be in Charlotte, North Carolina today – another decisive state for these elections, where Republicans have already won twice, but Democrats believe they can win this year.

North Carolina will also be a stopping point today for Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz, who is traveling from Kentucky, but with rallies already scheduled for Pennsylvania this weekend.

Furthermore, the two campaigns seem to be concerned with replicating territories and ‘media’ programs, trying to avoid leaving any space open, without contradiction, for the opponent.

At upcoming rallies and campaign initiatives in the coming days, in Georgia and Texas, where she will arrive on Friday, Harris promises to intensify her speech on access to abortion, appearing alongside women who, in different non-governmental organizations, have sought to counter restrictive policies in Republican-controlled states.

Trump, in turn, will maintain the focus on the issue of immigration, during his visit to Arizona, one of the states where the issue has provoked controversy, due to its long border with Mexico.
