Irish prepare new solution for offshore wind farms in Portugal: here are 5 things to know about exploiting offshore wind

The Irish company Gazelle Wind Power wants to have a say in the development of wind energy at sea, and Portugal will have a relevant role in Gazelle’s investment. The company requested a title to use the national maritime space, off Aguçadoura, in the municipality of Póvoa de Varzimto test a prototype of your platform for floating wind farms. The project, if it goes ahead, will be close to the space used by Swedish company Corpower to explore wave energy.
