Lebanese Hezbollah this Monday threatened Israel with new attacks if the offensive in Lebanon continues and after a drone attack on a military position south of Haifa killed four Israeli soldiers.
It was the deadliest attack on Israeli soil since the Lebanese Shiite armed movement and Israel went to war on September 23.
In a statement, Hezbollah, supported by Iran and an ally of Palestinian Hamas, “promises the enemy” that the attack “south of Haifa is just a sample of what awaits it if it decides to continue its aggression”.
The Israeli army said four soldiers were killed and seven injured at a Golani brigade training camp in Binyamina, south of Haifa, a large city in northern Israel.
According to United Hatzalah, a volunteer rescue organization, the attack injured more than 60 people.
