Group of Democratic donors calls Biden’s candidacy into question (and the first lady is a key player in the plan)

The first presidential debate was disastrous for Joe Biden, who always seemed lost in his speech, amorphous and incapable (despite brief hints of success) in reacting to Trump, and raised concerns about his “mental sharpness†( the expression is from the Washington Post) of the North American President. The doubts began to grow as did the pressure. Writes the New York Times this Sunday, the big donors are “nervous†about the “weak†performance in the last debate and there have even been “discussions†about how to remove Joe Biden from the race for the White House even before the Convention National Democrat on August 19th and 20th.
The key piece to convince him: the woman, Jill Biden.

In Silicon Valley, a group of “megadonors†led by millionaires Ron Conway and Laurene Powell they unfold between “phone calls, messages and emails†, writes the newspaper, to avoid a “possible catastrophe†. And it was in Silicon Valley that another major donor simply decided to cancel an already scheduled fundraiser “because of the debate†.
