Greece imposes a six-day week. What do you gain?

Qhen most European countries move towards a reduction in the number of weekly working hours, and consider the four-day week model, Greece approved a legislative reform that extends the normal working week work from five to six days, up to a total of 48 hours per week. The initiative of the conservative government led by Kyriakos Mitsotakis aims to boost the country’s productivity, attract foreign investment and reduce unemployment and undeclared double employment. But not only do most experts have serious doubts that this is the correct formula to resolve these problems, they even anticipate greater “damage” to the country’s economy in the medium-long term.
