Five high school students want to save lives with an innovative idea: a sponge that detects breast cancer early
Get in the bathtub, turn on the water to take a shower, take your sponge and add shower gel. It rubs over your body and, if you have signs of developing breast cancer, they are detected by that same sponge, which emits visual and audible alerts. This is the objective of the project designed by the mini-company Bfore, made up of five 10th year students from Escola Secundária Pedro Nunes, in Lisbon, and which will take them to Catania, in Italy, to defend the Portuguese colors at Gen E-24, the largest European entrepreneurship festival, which takes place between this Tuesday, July 2nd, and Thursday, July 4th.
