European Union condemns Israeli attacks on UN missions
The European Union (EU) condemned this Monday the Israeli attacks against United Nations missions in Lebanon and the bombings in “highly populated areas”.
“The EU condemns all attacks against United Nations (UN) missions and expresses particularly serious concern about attacks by the Israeli army,” wrote High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell, on social network (formerly Twitter).
Before starting a meeting of EU foreign ministersin Luxembourg, the High Representative criticized the missiles that the Hezbollah militia group fired into Israeli territory and Israel’s bombings in “highly populated areas” in Lebanon, namely in Beirut, the country’s capital.
