David Gilmour has guaranteed that he will not play with Roger Waters again.
In an interview with “The Guardian”, the musician ruled out any reunion with his former Pink Floyd colleague, with whom he recently reached an agreement to the sale of the group’s entire catalog.
“I tend to run away from people who support autocratic regimes, like those of Vladimir Putin and Nicolás Maduro,” he said.
“On the other hand, I would love to go back on stage with Rick Wright [teclista dos Pink Floyd, falecido em 2008]who was one of the kindest and most musically gifted people I’ve ever met.”
The relationship between Gilmour and Waters, which was never the best, suffered a new setback earlier this year, after Polly Samson, the guitarist’s wife, accused Waters of anti-Semitism.
