Coldplay at Glastonbury festival: videos and lineup for an epic concert

Coldplay performed this Saturday at the Glastonbury festival, having headlined the second day of the event. The British band brought several of their biggest hits to the festival, having started the show with ‘Yellow’, the song that 24 years ago introduced Chris Martin and his companions to the world .

In a concert with no downtime, broadcast live around the world by the BBC, Coldplay was also surprising with the number of guests they took to the stage. The first was Spanish-American singer and songwriter Victoria Canal, who performed ‘Paradise’ with the group.

‘Viva La Vida’, a 2008 single by Coldplay, featured a string orchestra on stage, followed by Little Simz (for ‘We Pray’, a song o nova), Femi Kuti (‘Arabesque’) and Laura Mvula (‘Violet Hill’). Palestinian singer Elyanna also joined the band

No encorethe biggest surprise of the night: actor Michael J. Fox joined Coldplay to perform, on guitar, ‘Humankind’ and ‘Fix You’. The end was with ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’, the group’s most recent single.
