Broadcasting Station #202: BLITZ invites Virgul. From the broken leg in the Southwest with the Da Weasels to the days of fatherhood
Virgul, MC of Da Weasel, member of Nu Soul Family and, since 2017, also a solo artist is the guest on the most recent episode of Posto Emissor. On the BLITZ podcast, the musician discussed not only his work in “weasel†– with whom he will give three concerts this year – but also in Nu Soul Family, alongside Dino D’Santiago, and solo .
In a conversation with Paulo André CecÃlio, Virgul did not forget the somersault he did at the Sudoeste Festival in 2000, at the entrance to a Da Weasel concert, and which ended with a lukewarm departure, he discussed the new solo album that is preparing and which should be released later this year, he spoke about fatherhood (he has two daughters), the times of “womanizing†and, also, racism.
In this episode of Posto Emissor, Fausto Bordalo Dias, who passed away last Monday at the age of 75, paid tribute and covered the week’s busy concert schedule, with emphasis on the festivals Sumol Summer Fest, RFM Somnii Intermarchà ©, Ageas CoolJazz and NOS Alive, the latter featuring as headliners Arcade Fire, Dua Lipa and Pearl Jam, a band that recently canceled three concerts on its European tour.
