At the door of Parliament, security forces complained about the queue and took cents to offer to Montenegro

The day before the debate on the situation of the security forces and the risk subsidy, André Ventura and the union leaders exchanged appeals for the agents to show their displeasure in the Assembly of the Republic. But potential fears of a demonstration similar to others in the past, with moments of violence and great tension, ended up being largely dispelled.

Several hundred police and military personnel showed up this Thursday to try to watch the debate in Parliament, in Lisbon, but the majority had to stay at the door and watch what was being said in the hemicycle on their cell phone screens. The opening of the galleries took place just before the scheduled start of the discussion, and it wasn’t long before the long wait eventually turned into impatience.
