Without the consensus of deputies or even workers at the time, the Legislative Assembly approved carrying out a solemn session of November 25th in Parliamentin the same templates for the 25th of April ceremony. Only with the votes of the right, which did not even lead the coup politically.
I have already written here, more than once, about this shaky attempt to equate April 25th with November 25th. An attempt that is worth little. There is no parliamentary vote that replaces collective memory, although the State can shape it. It is no coincidence that there is no popular festival on the 25th of November and it has an unprecedented persistence and dimension of protest and the absence of official supervision, on the 25th of April.
