Álvaro Covões: “The 25th of November has not yet reached culture, so we live in a kind of PREC”

Director of the NOS Alive festival and the promoter Everything Is New, Ãlvaro Covões is the most recent guest of Posto Emissor, leaving on the BLITZ podcast critical of the actions of the Ministry of Culture of several governments, in that concerns the private sector.

“The 25th of November has not yet reached culture, so we still live in a kind of Ongoing Revolutionary Process,†considers the businessman.

“The Ministry of Culture should be called the Ministry of Public Culture, because it seems that the private sector does not have a ministry. Farmers have it, hoteliers too, and we in culture, in the private sector, don’t have it,” he laments.
