“A very good relationship”: Trump boasts of almost daily conversations with Netanyahu

The Republican candidate for the US presidential elections, Donald Trump, boasted of his almost daily conversations with Benjamin Netanyahu, ensuring that he has a “very good relationship” with the Israeli prime minister.

“Bibi called me yesterday, she had called me the day before,” said the Republican candidate for the White House and former President, referring to Netanyahu.

During a campaign rally in the US state of Georgia, Trump said he had “a very good relationship” with the Israeli prime minister.

“We will work with them very closely,” he added.

Donald Trump had already reported on Saturday a telephone conversation between the two, saying that the Israeli leader wanted to “know (his) point of view on the dossiers”.

The last public call between Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu was on October 17, when the American President “congratulated” his Israeli counterpart on the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinouar, according to the White House.

During his visit to the United States Congress in late July, Benjamin Netanyahu paid a warm tribute to Donald Trump, thanking him for “everything he has done for Israel.”
