“In the last 50 years only one side has been heard”: in 90 minutes, Ventura called for revolution, sang the anthem and listened to Da Vinci

André Ventura arrived at Praça do Município at around 3:20 pm. It was from there that the counter-demonstration “For our police, for the rule of law” that Chega organized was going to start at the door of the Assembly of the Republic. He was applauded by the dozens of people who gathered there, some with party flags, others with Portuguese flags and one with the Brazilian flag.

Along the way, a few more joined, but the final number would have been around 200, much smaller than what the Vida Justa movement gathered at the same time on Avenida da Liberdade.
