CAround 1.3 million jobs will have to be retrained in Portugal with the adoption of automation and generative artificial intelligence (AI). The data comes from a McKinsey study released this week and which calculates the productivity gains that Portugal will experience in this transition. The potential leap is big but there is a catch: in order not to be left behind, Portugal has to make a quick tradition, otherwise it will increase the distance to the European average.
