According to the newspaper “Shanghai Daily”, tax actions in restaurants of this chain specializing in fried chicken confirmed the use of this ingredient, and this fact was supposedly hidden from customers. Chinese laws require that genetically modified foods be clearly identified as such, and their use must be disclosed.
