Airports break records, in a summer with reduced delays and in a year in which ANA plans to invest 120 million

At a congested airport with chronic delays like Humberto Delgado in Lisbon, their reduction is welcome news for the sector and passengers. This was what Pedro Ângelo, president of ANA – Navegação Aérea announced this week during the 7th edition of the Air Summit, in Ponte de Sor, an event that ended this Saturday. There was a significant reduction in delays in July, August and September this year, months in which Lisbon, the country’s largest airport, has practically every hour occupied every slots (time range for getting up and landing).

At the same event, Thierry Ligonnière, the president of ANA – Aeroportos de Portugal, highlighted the growth cycle of setcor in Portugal, highlighting that passenger records continue to be broken: in Lisbon the barrier of 35 million passengers has already been surpassed and in Port of 15 million.
