In addition to these cases, there are six other districts in the country, all located in the north and center regions, under yellow warning: Viana do Castelo, Braga, Bragança, Guarda, Leiria and Santarém.

In the cases of Viana do Castelo and Braga, the yellow warning is in force between 05:49 and 12:00 today, in Bragança, between 06:00 and 15:00, in Guarda, between 09:00 and 12:00, in Leiria and Santarém, between 15:00 and 06:00 and 09:00 on Monday, respectively.

The orange warning is issued by IPMA whenever there is a meteorological situation of moderate to high risk and the yellow warning when there is a risk situation for certain activities depending on the meteorological situation.

For today, the IPMA forecast points to persistent and sometimes heavy rain in the north and center of the country, reaching Alto Alentejo and the west coast of the South region, where it will be light. Strong winds are also forecast on the coast and in the highlands.

On the continent, minimum temperatures will range between 13ºC in Bragança and 20ºC in Lisbon and Santarém, while maximum temperatures are expected to range between 18ºC in Vila Real and 28ºC in Santarém.
