Back in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was the target of an attempted murder in July, Donald Trump dedicated a significant part of his speech to thanking the secret services and paying tribute to the family of Corey Comperatore, the former fire chief who died in the attack. He also addressed some of the central themes of his campaign and criticized Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for the North American presidential elections.

At the beginning of the speech, Trump highlighted the work of the American secret services and security forces, both on July 13 and in the recent assassination attempt. He also praised the medical and emergency teams who provided assistance during the attack that occurred three months ago.
