“Sam The Kid and I could be 20 years apart and if we crossed paths then it would seem like it was yesterday”: Branko at Posto Emissor

‘Actual’ is the single that brings together Branko, this week’s guest on the Posto Emissor podcast, and Sam The Kid, two decades after working together on “Pratica(mente)”, the fourth album by the rapper and producer from Chelas.

“We have an incredible relationship, but we are one of those people who could be totally separated for 20 years and then cross paths and it would seem like we had seen each other yesterday”, explains Branko about the new theme, included in the version deluxe from the latest album, “Soma”, which arrives on October 18th.

“The invitation came from me, as a challenge”, adds the producer and DJ, “and a little with a desire to revisit that time when Lisbon had automatic meeting points, like Bairro Alto, where musicians crossed paths. Today, it’s not that easy anymore. I decided to pick up the phone, call him and challenge him to do a beat together.”
