That day, in the early afternoon, as usual, the barber was heating lunch on a small two-burner stove he had in the establishment so he could eat more quickly and not make his customers wait. Beside him, Ziggy, the assistant, was cutting the hair of a Colombian teenager who had gone to the salon for the first time. While the food was heating, Pina was resting on the sofa, busy with her cell phone, when a resident of the neighborhood, known for several stories of disrespect, entered the store and demanded that his hair be cut immediately.
