Campazzo’s attack of anger that cost him disqualification
Facundo Campazzo was disqualified with eight seconds remaining in the match against Bayern on the first day of the Euroleague. The point guard, in a fit of rage, angrily protested to the referees considering that he had received a personal foul on a triple with which he tried to equalize the matchwhich at that time was going 92-89.
The Argentine player had to be held down by his teammate Serge Ibaka so that he would not get closer to the referees, who sanctioned him with two techniques and the subsequent expulsion. In the television images he was seen shouting at the referees and, depending on what they reflect in the minutes, there could even be a sanction.
Campazzo was once again Real Madrid’s top scorer with 19 points. In the last minute they added five trying to come back, but it was just an attempt.
