This Thursday, PwC opened its fifth office in the country, in Matosinhos, in a partnership between PwC Luxemburgo and PwC Portugal to carry out audits of banks and investment funds.
“It is a notable recognition of national talent and our ability to cooperate with shared value”, says António Brochado Correia, president of PwC Portugal about this project that brings Luxembourg to the north of the country to create 230 jobs in the initial phase, but already with the aim of reaching, in 2027, 700 jobs “highly qualified in the financial industry and the new regulatory and business requirements of the sector”.
